Daydreaming: brushing up
Thursday, March 11, 2010 at 6:00AM It began innocently enough: I have a photo of a table brush on my inspiration board, a small little brush and dustpan which you can use to sweep crumbs off of your table, and I thought to myself that it is quite sensible and useful, and then, then I wondered if there were other wooden brushes out there that I might find useful. The answer is yes, yes there are:

Now I'm entirely unsatisfied with my cleaning brushes, sad plastic things that they are, and I think I may have inadvertently begun a collection. The only thing I need to decide now is which one will be first...

Yes...I hate those awful plastic brushes at the grocery store.. I think it's the bristles that are the worst: the plastic is so full of static! Anything wooden is so much better, but hard to find. Also, another pet peeve is the quality/material of sponges... all the synthetic, again plastic, is terrible and doesn't really do the job the way the "old fashioned" materials did!
Excellent research. I'm glad I'm not headed to Walmart today or it could be an expensive run. I want them all! I've linked this article to my blog to share with all my friends. Thanks.
