A Giveaway - Dig in the Dirt
Monday, March 8, 2010 at 1:28PM
As a thank-you to everyone who has supported this new creative endeavor of mine, I'm having a giveaway here on Good Measure this week! I'm going to give one lucky winner my favorite new gardening book, along with a hand printed journal and set of six mix and match linen napkins from Inklore. I hope that the book will inspire you to dig in the dirt; the journal is a great place to make notes about your garden (I even tape the plant markers of the plants I buy inside so I can remember what they are) and the napkins will help you set a lovely table when you make your first dinner with veggies from your own garden!
The giveaway begins right now and ends on Sunday, March 14th at 9:00 PM. All you need to do is leave a comment on this post. Please make sure to leave some sort of contact info so that I can find you if you are the lucky winner. Good luck!

Great giveaway! We're moving to another gardening "zone", and a smaller space, so the container gardening section looks great!
Woo hoo - I love gardening and can't wait to go play in the dirt! I'm really enjoying your blog, Sam. Keep up the great work! :) Brenda

Wow that would be perfect for Spring! Looks lovely.
I could definitely use some literature on this subject; I am dying for a little herb garden in my kitchen but have been struggling with my seedlings so far this season :/

I came across your beautiful blog via Poppytalk and it's so inspirational! Filled with beautiful things and smilingly good ideas. And then to find you have a giveaway, well shucks, it seemed the right time to post a little greeting.
We have a veggie garden, mostly in pots of various sizes do to space restrictions and the book'd be perfect in helping us along. The journal is beautiful and just right for writing recipes involving the aforementioned garden produce, which we've only started doing, but on scraps of paper only! We're waiting for the right book to come along :) And then dinners served up with the napkins would round out a perfect gardening day. All in all, a perfectly themed pack!
May your garden be always filled with good things and never many hungry bugs!
What a beautiful and thoughtful giveaway! I'd of course love to be included in the drawing as I'm busy sketching plans for my first ever garden. We don't have a ton of space so this book looks really really great!

Awesome giveaway! My husband and I started our first veggie garden in November, and it's doing awesome, I love growing our own food! The journal and napkins are just lovely!
What an awesome give away! We have big plans to start a little patio garden this spring/summer now that we have a new place, so I just added this book to my amazon wishlist. And the napkins are absolutely gorgeous! I have to say, your blog is quickly moving up to the top of my reader. I think I star about every other post!!

Perfect timing! I actually just wrote a post about how I have no idea what I'm doing, garden-wise.
