Old Dairy On Holiday
Tuesday, March 9, 2010 at 6:00AM

Growing up, we had family friends who owned a dairy, and while I have fond memories of jumping off bales of hay into piles of cotton in their barn, I must admit I never longed to live on a dairy. This incredible home by Thomas de Cruz architects & designers, however, has made me rethink my position. Their website says, "...we strive to blur the boundaries between being on holiday and being at home." With large open expanses of windows, sliding doors, canopies, and a gorgeous outdoor space, I think they have achieved their goal with this home.

can't get my eyes away from that home!! it's perfectly integrated in the row of houses i can imagine this in the middle of frankfurt, too. if i ever had a town house i would like it to be just like this!
I love how they mention that it is a type of "home away from home". Now if only my home could look like that. Such a luxurious place and open place. Beautiful!
